Meet the Team

FAMILY: Pastor Herschell has been married for 20 years to his wife, Laura (Bolton). They have two children, Jeremiah and Ashley, who are both actively involved in ministry.
HISTORY: Park West Church has been Pastor Herschell's home church since he was saved in 1988. Laura actually started attending Park West in 1985. After serving as an associate pastor between 1991 and 1997 in Englewood, TN and in Anderson, SC, they returned as pastors to Park West in 1997.
MINISTRY: Pastor Herschell and Laura have served as Children's and Youth Pastors at Park West over the years, in additional to working with Pastor McGinnis in the area of administration. Currently they serve as Pastors of Family Ministry.
CALLING: Since 1988 Pastor Herschell has always known his call was to pastor and to teach. Since 2001, in addition to pasturing, he has taught part-time for Lee University and more recently for the Church of God Theological Seminary. He is also a published author.
EDUCATION: Pastor Herschell is a graduate of Lee University and the Church of God Theological Seminary. He earned a BS in Bible and Theology, an MA in Church Ministries and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Ministry Leadership. Laura holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in Church Music.
HOBBIES: Pastor Herschell loves to play golf and to do research.
PASSION: Our greatest passion is to pour our lives first into our children and then into others to see them fulfill the call of God on their lives.
