JOHN 4:35

New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

We desire to see the lost come to a knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience a true relationship with our Savior.

We are the people of God called into the body of Christ and unified by the Holy Spirit. each person has distinct value and deserves mutual respect in an atmosphere of unconditional love.

In order to operate in accordance with God's will in the fullest potential, we must embrace these four elements:

  1. Unity
  2. Individual Significance
  3. Mutual Respect
  4. Unconditional Love

-In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

-In the one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

-That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary.

-That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

-That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

-That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

-In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.

-Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.

-In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

-In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

-In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

-Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

-In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saint's feet.

-In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

-In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

For over 38 years, Park West Church (PWC) has been a place of ministry and hope in the Knoxville area. Founding Pastor Gerald E. McGinnis founded the church on October 19, 1980 with 26 people who met for our first service in the music room of Cedar Bluff Intermediate School. In 1991 we made our home here on Middlebrook Pike. and In August of 2015, PWC welcomed a second campus into our family at 1416 Breda Drive, our Dutch Valley Campus, to make us one church with two locations.
In 2018 Pastor Gerald passed leadership to his son, Dr. Jeremy McGinnis. And PWC has continued to pursue God with a a passion to reach the city of Knoxville and the world. Our mission is to help people of all ages and walks of life discover their destiny and who they are in Jesus Chris
Join us for weekly worship Sunday at 9am & 11am at our Main Campus on Middlebrook Pike or 10:30am at our Dutch Valley Campus on Breda Drive.
