Worship Choir & Band

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord..." - Psalm 150:6 (NKJV)

The goal of the Worship Choir and Band is to usher in the presence of God and to prepare the congregation for the ministry of the Word. We desire to glorify God not only through our music, but through our attitude as well.

The Worship Choir and Band minister each Sunday morning at the services and at various other special services. Our rehearsals are on Wednesday evening @ 7 PM and Sunday @ 5 PM.  Everyone is encouraged to attend all rehearsals if possible. Our rehearsals are not only a time of preparation, but also a time of prayer and fellowship.

Our prayer is for God to continue to open doors for us to participate in worship outside the walls of the church where we can reach the lost. It has been our privilege, along with other groups from our church, to minister at many community events such as the Back To School party hosted by KICKO for Knoxville's inner city kids and also to sing and serve food to the homeless of Knoxville with the Lost Sheep Ministry and Cooks for Christ. We have also had the honor of ministering at the Tennessee Prison for Women in Nashville and various other local chapel services, area revivals and conferences.
