Banner and Dance Ministry

"Let them praise His name with the dance..." - Psalm 149:3 (NKJV) 

The Banner and Dance group at Park West Church ministers, along with the choir, at various services throughout the year. Their desire is to see dance used in church services to usher in the presence of God. There are numerous references in the Bible about dancing before the Lord. Exodus 15:20, records how Miriam and others danced for joy to celebrate their deliverance by the mighty hand of God. In Psalms 149 and 150, the writer commands that we should praise the Lord with dance.

This group is open to everyone, regardless of age or dance experience. No professional dance training is required. Dances range from the spontaneity of one person to choreographed dances with numerous participants. Their various dance styles include modern, ballet, lyrical; as well as prophetic and intercessory. They utilize streamers, flags and beautiful banners to further express praise and adoration to God.
